Aeronova has become a sponsor of the XXII scientific readings on aviation

On April 10–11, the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation hosted the All-Russian scientific and technical conference “XXII Scientific Readings on Aviation, dedicated to the memory of N. E. Zhukovsky,” timed to the 105th anniversary of the N. E. Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. Aeronova was among the event sponsors.
The conference brought together the country’s leading universities, research institutes, and enterprises. Participants discussed current issues in aviation science and technology, innovative solutions to enhance the safety and efficiency of aviation systems, specifics of operating onboard equipment in Russia and abroad, as well as historical aspects of the development of Russian aviation.
Our company not only sponsored the event, but also took an active part in the conference. The design team presented in the “Problems and challenges of lighter‑than‑air flight” session, sharing its experience and showcasing Aeronova’s developments in airship engineering and stratospheric balloons.
Vadim Zubkevich, Chief Designer, presented the NOVA-2 airship concept, outlining key aspects of the vehicle’s design and engineering solutions for ground support equipment to streamline ground operations.
Fedor Konstantinov, Aeronova’s CTO, spoke about the company’s stratospheric mission, during which the team developed and tested, during a 3.5‑day free drift, a stratostat in two configurations—an open‑envelope type and a superpressure envelope that stabilizes altitude without the use of ballast.
Dmitry Khmel, Chief Researcher, delivered two papers: “Altitude control of stratostats” and “Characteristics of an airship with enhanced aerodynamic efficiency.”
The conference was held at a high professional level and has long served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. Events like this foster scientific collaboration and the introduction of cutting-edge technologies into production.
