First Working Samples of NOVA‑2 Airship Shells

The Aeronauta team launched production of airship shells. The first product is a receiver, whose components are intended for testing the air‑gas system (AGS) of the NOVA‑2 airship. Specialists monitor each step, from cutting sheet material to preparing for welding, to ensure compliance with safety and reliability requirements.
At this stage the team is refining the manufacturing technology, focusing first on the weld seams of the receiver samples. The inspection includes visual examination and leak testing, which is important for the reliability of the air‑gas system. This checkpoint is required before moving to full‑size shell production.
The next step is to produce a full‑size shell for the NOVA‑2 airship. The future structure will be about 40 meters long. Completing the project will enable the transition from prototypes to serial production of shells.
