Generator testing for NOVA‑2 airship

As part of the current NOVA‑2 airship development program, our engineers carried out a series of tests on the generator. The tests were performed on a specially prepared test bench where the generator was connected to a power supply and a load that simulated flight operating conditions. The goal was to obtain objective data on the generator’s performance under real load.

The test bench used an electric motor rated at 15 kW, to which a 5 kW load was attached. This configuration allowed us to emulate the generator’s operation under conditions close to the planned service environment while monitoring its thermal regime. Our specialists recorded voltage, current and temperature parameters to assess operational stability.

The results will help us select the optimal operating mode that delivers maximum output power without overheating. We plan to conduct extended tests of the chosen mode and integrate the generator into a NOVA‑2 airship prototype for field verification.
